THE 2018 CAMPS BAY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP IS STARTING.
Please have a look at the draws now and plan accordingly make sure you are available on the days shown for the finals (incl plate and 2nd plate final).
Ladies
All round-robin matches are scheduled among themselves to be complete by Sat 3 Nov. The ladies finals night is on Tuesday 7 Nov and coincide with some Mens round 4 matches. I propose the 9 ladies set up a whatsapp group to plan your first three matches in the next two weeks.
*The ladies is earlier than the men's final as some of them are going to the Masters Doubles tournament, leaving on Wed 07 Nov.
Men
All round 1 matches organised between players, in own time and to be complete by Wednesday 24 October
All round 2 matches organised between players, in own time and to be complete by Wednesday 31 October
Further matches are scheduled for the following dates (and applicable players have to adhere this schedule):
Tuesday 6 Nov
Wednesday 7 Nov
Friday 9 Nov
Saturday 10 Nov
*The matches scheduled for the dates above can be played earlier than the dates (6,7 and 9 Nov) above, BUT MUST BE COMPLETED BY SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME.
Courts
The courts will be booked for the scheduled matches as above. Players must provide their own squash balls for the matches.
Refereeing
All self-organised matches will be referee'd by the players themselves. For the scheduled matches it is expected that the players stay to ref and umpire the matches following theirs. Scorecards will be available at the club and can be emailed to [email protected], or score on the sportyHQ app, where the results can be uploaded directly.
Social
There will be a social on the Ladies final night (Tue 6 Nov) and on the Mens final day (Sat 10 Nov). More detail wrt the social to follow. Please come and watch, support and enjoy these events.
