Introducing the VICTOR Sports Centre
The modern day sports player is looking for something that will keep their attention, and be exciting and engaging. New emerging sports such as Pickleball and Padel are achieving this and growing at rapid rates, however many other sports are struggling to evolve with the times due to their lack of digital advancements, traditional facility and membership structures, and limited programme progressions. Most facilities aren't welcoming towards youth who want an inclusive experience, while social and beginner players don’t feel comfortable playing because they aren’t welcomed or connected in with other existing players.
When the YMCA (the oldest and largest organisation for youth in the world) approached us with a unique opportunity to partner and open a new multi-sports centre focused on racquet, paddle, and bat sports within their existing North Shore facility, it was an opportunity we jumped at! The opportunity to have the freedom to open a centre that could be run in a new, modern, and exciting way with the YMCA seemed like the perfect fit as we both have a strong focus on youth sports, and we’ve always looked outside of the traditional ways of doing things to innovate and find better alternatives.
The VICTOR Sports Centre will focus on youth, beginner and social adults, and families to help them achieve high value results both on and off the court. Through delivering a range of exciting sports and activities we will develop more well rounded people and players.
We will provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages and abilities, with fair pricing based on paying when you play. It will be driven by the latest technology and innovation, within a modern facility that is designed to be the perfect environment for sports players to excel in.
The programme will provide high value services with guaranteed excellent results, while being localised to maximise play time over time travelling. Each player will be given individualised attention to ensure that they achieve their goals and through tracking can see tangible improvements which impact their sport and other areas of their life.
The centre offers a fully equipped gym, multi-sport stadium court, three squash courts, cycle room, warm up, stretching, and strengthening zone, study and education spaces, showers and locker-rooms, conference room, and other spaces.
Along with various new beginner and social programmes, the centre will be the home of our new Academy programme. Through our partnership with the YMCA, we are now able to provide youth the programme they have been dreaming of!
The new Academy programme will provide players an all-encompassing professional package that includes access to our world-class facility, social connectivity, a sophisticated programme focused on all four key elements of sport - physical, tactical, technical, and psychological, study and education support, and everything else they need to guarantee their success. The Academy programme will give youth both the opportunity to become a champion on court, and support them to achieve their study and education goals off it too.
We are thrilled to bring our new centre and programmes to the community, officially opening August 1st 2022.
